Been there, done that BUT ours was caused by some pranksters turning our power off at the breaker. We were out of town at the time and didn't find it for ? long! Bad smells + rotten food = not a happy person! Good luck!
I hear you. I actually don't know what turned ours off, because nothing else was off in our house. What bothered me was all the meat I had to throw away and then Jessica's wedding cake topper. (Which we forgot to send home with her anyway), so she's going to re-make her cake topper for this coming Friday anyway. I was still sad to throw it out.
